Introduction

2bskilled processes personal data of its customers, potential customers and other contacts. We do this in order to be able to execute a possible agreement. In this privacy statement we explain why and in what way we process your personal data.

We do not employ a Data Protection Officer, but we are happy to answer any questions you may have about our privacy policy at info@2bskilled.nl

What personal data does 2bskilled process?

Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we may process, depending on the products or services you purchase or use:

  • First and last name
  • Address
  • City
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Company address details
  • Location details
  • VAT number
  • Contact history

Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by registering on our website, in correspondence and by telephone.

  • Legal obligations

A small part of our processing is required by law. This mainly concerns personal data that is necessary to meet our tax obligations.

  • Newsletters and mailings

Occasionally we send newsletters and/or mailings. Sometimes these are personalized based on certain actions you have taken or products and/or services you purchase from us. You always have the option to adjust your preferences for receiving newsletters and mailings.

Automated decision-making

2bskilled does not make decisions based on automated processing (algorithms) that could have adverse consequences for you.

Rights of data subjects

Under the GDPR, everyone has a number of rights. We do our utmost to comply with these as best as possible. Do you have any tips or comments? Please let us know! To exercise your rights, you can contact us via info@2bskilled.nl.

  • Information and inspection: you can of course inspect which personal data we process about you. We would also like to tell you more about how and why we process this data.
  • Rectification: do you think we have incorrect data about you? Please let us know and we will adjust it.
  • Forgetting: you can delete the personal data we have about you. We may still have to process this data for other purposes (administration or deduplication, for example).
  • Restriction: if you think we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you can also have this processing restricted.
  • Objection (opposition): you can object to the processing of your personal data. Does it concern marketing? We will then end this processing as soon as possible.
  • Portability: this is a new right under the GDPR to transfer your personal data. If you would like to make use of this, please contact us.

In addition, you can also:

  • Withdrawing consent: for example, for receiving e-mails. If you wish to withdraw consent for other processing, you can contact us. This can be done via info@2bskilled.nl.
  • Filing a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP): do you believe that we are not acting in accordance with privacy legislation? Then we would of course like to hear about it. You can also file a complaint about this with the AP.

How long do we retain your personal data?

Personal data may not be stored for longer than necessary. The retention period depends on the purpose for which we received or collected the data and on any legal obligations to store data.

If you have requested a quote from us but have not become a customer of ours, we will delete your data no later than two years after our last contact. Also if we have received a quote from you but we have not become a customer of yours, your personal data will be deleted no later than two years after our last contact. If you have become a customer of ours or we have become a customer of yours, we will store your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully executed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period within which we are obliged to store our administration for the Tax Authorities. After this period has expired, we will delete your personal data.

Basis for processing:

As explained above, we process some data to perform a legal obligation, some to perform an agreement and most to perform the legitimate interest of 2bskilled: performing our objective. If you would like to know more about the consideration we make with the legitimate interest, please contact us.

Transfer to third parties

In connection with the execution of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that we must provide your personal data to parties that supply products and/or services to us or perform work on our behalf. Furthermore, we use external server space for the storage of our services offered and the products purchased by you, of which your personal data are a part. For that reason, your personal data is provided to our server space provider.

How 2bskilled protects your personal data

We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the idea that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us via info@2bskilled.nl.

We have taken the following measures to protect your personal data:

  • Our employees’ servers and devices are equipped with up-to-date security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.
  • We only send your data via secure internet connections (SSL). You can see this from the address bar ‘https’ and the padlock.
  • Access to personal data from mobile devices is restricted and actively monitored.

DKIM are internet standards that we use to prevent you from receiving emails in our name that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.

2bskilled uses cookies. We do this so that we can stay informed about the maintenance of the website and to analyze website traffic by means of Google Analytics.
