As an employer, you are obliged to take effective measures in the field of in-house emergency response. The way in which FAFS is organised and the number of FAFS officers depends on the size of your organisation and the health and safety risks associated with the organisation. This is determined on the basis of the results of the Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E). If the company appoints FAFS officers, it must be ensured that they have appropriate training and equipment to perform their duties properly.
After this e-learning, you will know the general rules in emergency care. You know what to do in case of severe bleeding. You know what to do in case of fire and smoke. You know how to approach a fire and how to use small extinguishers. You also learn about first aid at accidents, evacuation plans, escape routes and aftercare after an evacuation.
Employees learn to recognise and/or prevent problems in time and so they can contribute to their own safety. As a result, safety is no longer the exclusive preserve of employers or relief workers: safety belongs to everyone. We also offer FAFS in combination with practice. It is possible to use a risk scan to give substance to the practical exercise with the aim of making it fully compatible with the results of the RI&E.
